Why does it have to end?

When you feel love or endless happiness, why does it have to end? Why do nice things only come in small packages? Why are there so many questions about senseless things? I can't find answers. Life'a too short and I don't want to be caught in the forgetful minds my enimies. It's all good for a little while. So why does it have to end?
